I know he doesn't do them anymore. He would have been my first choice

 

When did he stop doing that? I thought he was still building them as of a couple months ago.

It's really not that hard of a process once you get in to it.

 

Honestly its not that bad at all. Ive done a couple LS and my LT swap harness. Get a pinout of the PCM and start from scratch. Lots of people are afraid to touch wiring but its pretty simple.

Just remember these for the basics. I always start fresh by un-pinning everything and starting over.

Pinks (ignition on, fused)
Orange (constant, fused)
Blacks (ground)
Grey (sensor 5v to pcm)

I would love to help ya out but with a baby due in the next month and wiring/building a turbo setup for a LS monte so I'm kinda busy.

Pocket quit doing them a year ago or more. It's not that it scares me to do it myself I'm just short on time. New job doesn't allow me a lot of free time.

 

Once I know my harness works I'd build one... But I'm currently busted up and can't even work on my own car at the moment.
I actually didn't mind building my harness.

You do need sometime to work on it , i didn't have time to work on my harness also so any time i got i work on it , it's not that bad once you read and follow pinouts and diagrams/schematics it took me a total of about lil over 24 hours or so to complete the harness what took the most time was probably lengthen wires and repining the c100 as it's a challenge to disassemble with the electric goo but can of brakes cleaner iirc is what i used to ease the pain but it does take time

Also I'm colorblind didn't help me also lol that added alot of time my wiring so had to use my wife eyes to double check for me

When money allows i would like to buy and use new harness or a plug and play one from pocket mines look decent but
would be nice as my harness seen better days before it got in my hands but I'm just nit picking

Still cant source a C207 or C221. Might have to salvage those from JY cars. I found part numbers for both, but no one sells them. Oddly enough, the oval relay bodies are discontinued as well. Might have to convert everything to the new bosch square relays

I am trying to figure out if you are or not doing the harness? I am still planning on doing my swap and there is no one, no where else I would rather do my harness! My car (bought new)was a factory 305TPT/ T-5. that lasted three months than a mild 355 for a year and finally a stroker 388. I am planning a 6.0/T-56 setup. Could you do my harness and how much. I should be ready on the next 60 days,

You think that's confusing you should try an aircraft engineering mod on an airliner. I work as an avionics mechanic for a major airline. Now that is confusing. I can't wait to get into my LS upgrade, but money is a limiting factor right now. I'm used to working with mega wiring prints and hundreds of wires that are not color coded but numerically marked every few inches. Wiring is not difficult but paying attention to detail is a must. Good prints and correct pin-outs to the correct circuit and connector type are paramount. A good multimeter, wire stripper, and other wiring tools help a lot. A well-lit place to work is necessary.

 

First one is done. Who wants one?

Comes complete, c100 to c207, hvac, all engine controls. Any 85-92 EFI car. Haven't nailed down a fuseblock for the older cars yet

Going to start at $625 for a standard build. AC, emissions, stock routing 7' extension, fuseblock for carb cars will be a few bucks more

 

so with this, what all wiring will i still need to do? assume this is setup for a three wire maf?

 

that's a pretty competitive price.
I just buy the harnesses new and outright now. for swaps. I don't have the time to fiddle with wiring. eats up too much of my time.

Auto to auto and manual to manual conversions are plug and play. Auto to t56 require two wires spliced for the back-up lights. Carb cars require the fuel pump wire connected. Everything else is covered. Fuses, hvac, body connectors, relays, fans etc. Same as the old harnesses I built, only difference this time is they are 100% brand new

3 or 5 wire MAF, SD whatever you need

 

Most swaps are TPI and come with the ls1 harness. Selling those off will make this very attractive

I'm not familiar with megasquirt. If you're doing multiple with the same PCM and pinout, shoot me a PM. One-off stuff is difficult to work with

I can do simple stand alone harnesses for older vehicles as well

 

Damn if this was like a month or two sooner I totally would have been your first customer. Good idea to build completely new harnesses...definitely where the money is right now. Very nice competitive price for a complete plug and play harness with A/C and everything.

Just to add my two cents.... I had lunch with Pocket on Friday and saw this harness in the box prior to install. He does amazingly clean and professional work. Starting with a purpose built harness specifically for your needs to me is the only way to go. I am the original owner of an 87 IROC so my harness is a virgin.... Many of TGO owners have bought used cars and don't know "where their cars have been..." You can certainly modify your original harness but you most likely spend as much for one of Pockets brand new harness. As I said, this is my two cents for what its worth. I am not quite ready but Pocket will build my new harness once I decide which direction I go.
FYI.... I also got to ride in his bad *** green machine it pulls like a freight train!

What fuse/relay panel is that?
I already have my set up ready to go pretty much and I'm hiding my block under the passenger hush panel area, so it's too late for me, but someone else may be interested in the future.

 

Dorman fuseblock (2) and ebay relay body/sockets. Same one Ive used for years, simple, inexpensive, modular and no special parts

I'm looking to build 2 tpi harness for projects I'm doing. Where do I find the length of wires, or do I just order a certain number of feet of every wire color that is needed. Any info would be helpful.

Most suppliers have a minimum order for colored wire, esp striped jackets. Multiply that by the number of colors Delphi used, and its a pretty steep buy-in for just two harnesses

If you can find a shop that sells short lengths of wire then itll be at an inflated price

What part of NC are you in? I might be able to help if youre semi-local

 

You're money ahead to let Pocket build it for you, great quality and probably much better value than doing it your self. Plus great after sale advice as needed. BTW Jon still not done getting that 6.0 in my '92 Z, so much to do around the house, gotta have priorities huh.
