Lsx 5.3L swap... Where to get ecu flashed!??
Im in the midst of a 2002 5.3L swap in my 88 camaro. I have everything pretty much figured out and ready to drop in but im weary of the ebay tuners and spending 300+ from an Hp tuners guy to do it seems pricey. Does anyone know of anyone in upstate new york or someone with references that i can send it to, to be tuned properly the first time? Thanks

Texas speed for sure. I spent 250 from a local guy and it wasn't that great. Texas speed not only gave me a solid "first tune " but it comes with a yr of updates. I bought hp tuners to data log with and all I do it go for a drive email the tuner and tell him what I'm experiencing and helps to bang it out. Plus I don't have any down time since he just emails me the tune. A+ service and all great guys!

^^^^ Yep, what he said.
You might have a reputable shop in your area. But if you do mail order then Texas Speed is the way to go. I've used them for a H/C/I 6.0L and their mail order tune had better idle stability than what the local "professional" did. Being a professional just means they get paid for their work... Doesn't mean they are any good at it.

I'd have to look but I wanna say 250 or 300? Sounds like alot but from reading other builds and from research. You really get what you pay for on this. Plus most places don't give you the full year of updates that I know of.
