Would you?
Would you?
I think I have a chance to get an LS1 with 105K miles on it for around $1500. It doesn't have any accessories or wire harness. I'm not worried about that though because I am probably going to run a Microsquirt.
Would you buy it of would you got the 5.3 route? I'm thinking that if i got the 5.3 for $600 I would be spending the other $900 on LS1 intake complete and other little thing you need to do the 5.3.
What would you guys do. FYI I plan on doing a turbo build on this.

Re: Would you?
that's too much for a stripped ls1...get a 5.3 and you can get an intake and oil pan setup used for under 300 bucks..... people really over value ls1s

I'd buy a $300 5.3, punch it out to 5.7 bore, put it back together and then turbo it.
I also wouldn't spend $900 on an LS1 intake. Edelbrock or Holley squarebore mount single plane intake with injector bungs & fuel rails, elbow, 92mm TB. Much less than $900.
