I am not starting a swap just yet but have more than enough planning on paper.

I am up in the air on ratios and wanted feedback from those who are running GTO ratios behind a 5.3. What rear gears, vehicle weight, miles accumulated, and experienced fuel economy have you had?

If you were doing the math to decide, what would you take into account?

I like highway overdrive, and a well spaced set of 1-4 ratios.

I am very well aware of what can be built from a T56 or TR6060 as far as ratios.
