LT1 fan issues
I know but I have read everything and have a couple questions. I have checked and tried everything. So a mouse or something ate a bunch of wires. I fixed the wires got car running but now the fans don;t work. I have checked every wire and then checked every wire to ECU to there destignation and everything checks out. Voltages are correct, resistenace is correct and everything seams correct but fans do no turn on. I can put in code sanner and they turn on, I can pull the throttle sensor and they turn on but they will not turn on at temp and I know this is correct because car overheated. I replaced water pump sensor. I have two computers and niether will turn on fans. So are fans ran by the ECU or the Eprom, I only have one Eprom and have to move it from ECU to ECU when I switch computers. Been working on this for weeks and have gotten no where. Everyhitng checks out. What am I missing.

Re: LT1 fan issues
A10 & A11 of the PCM is the control for the fans. Should be Dk blue and Dk Green on the relays. I am pretty sure they are grounds.
Fan1 turns on when engine reaches temp1 and both turn on when it reaches temp2 or with certain AC related variables met.
I'm not sure what the stock temps are but they are higher than anyone likes. like 210 and 230 or something.
