5.3 into a 3rd gen

Probably been covered on a thread somewhere before but can you run the stock LM7 oil pan in a 3rd gen Camaro?

No, truck pan is too deep. You'll need a LS1 F-Body pan.

Technically you can, but you risk busting the pan since it hangs lower than the stock K-member. As mentioned, your best bet is an F-body pan or one of the Holley units.
