What to pull if have access to complete JY truck?
I'm am starting to read and look into swapping a 5.3 into an 84 I just got.
The junkyard near me has a ton of early 2000's Silverados with the LM7 5.3 engine.
With access to a complete vehicle, what else besides the engine, accessories, ecm, and wiring would be useful to pull.
Thank you.

Transmission (if you want an auto), gas pedal (if DBW), throttle cables (if cable throttle), and battery cables never hurt.

I'd get every bit of underhood wiring you could as it may come in handy to lengthen or add in wires for this project or another. Way cheaper to pay a little bit for a harness at a wrecking yard and have oodles of multi-colored wires than to buy wire locally or online.
