New to the forum, not new to researching but can稚 find a define answer, So lq4 in to a third gen t/a I知 looking at going with the fbody front drive accessories if I can make it fit doing so however I知 confused as to what to order as far as a balancer, waterpump, and all the brackets... I知 sure the answer has been I. Front of my face this whole time and I知 over thinking it.
ls 1 balancer ?
ls3 waterpump?
what about power steering and alt relocate?
The accessory drive spacing is entirely up to you. If your LQ4 came with accessories you could get away with using those as they will fit. (when properly rearranged.) ls3 camaro water pump shares the same offset as truck. Fbody spacing will over a little bit more clearance as it is tighter to the block.
Truck offset with LS3 water pump, Truck ps pump and truck alternator. Factory style r4 compressor Fbody offset with fbody water pump, ps, alt, Factory style r4 compressor
So basically I just need brackets more or less I do have all the truck accessories, I misunderstood what people were saying about fitment it痴 really all about relocation. So i could put a ls3 waterpump on and get a bracket for the alt and p/s and utilize the rest of the truck parts if I知 understanding you correctly?
Look up Dirty Dingo, LSSImple or ICT for the brackets. You can even get a highmount style alternator bracket to put the alternator and AC in the same factory locations they are on the TPI engines.
