LS swap into a Berlinetta
I looked around on here and couldn't find any pertinent information, my question is simple.
I have a Berlinetta camaro, digi cluster, control pods, rotating radio, the cool stuff.
but the stock carb 305 that's in their wheezes to 60 like my grandpa getting out of bed in the morning.
I figure the mechanical parts of an LS swap are just like how you would do it for every other 3rd gen, I'm going to go with a 5.3.
my actual question is for the Berlinetta specifically, will the swap wiring harnesses that are available work with the digital cluster? I figure it might not, and I'm not an electrician so having something plug and play is gonna be better for me.

Re: LS swap into a Berlinetta
You will find that most of the guys on this board are not fans of the readily available "swap harnesses" on the market, instead opting to modify our own. There are some REALLY good threads about this in the stickies section.
As far as your gauges go, everything will work just fine, so long as you continue to use your existing sending units - which you have to integrate into the LS wiring harness.
Speedometer might be a different question, though.
But trust me, the answers are out there.

And the Value of Third Gens have been going up quite a lot.
I would consider not Modifying it, Selling it, and modifying another Third Gen.
Contact @John in RI , he is a Berlinetta Specialist... and get his opinion.
