PO704 Clutch Switch Input Circuit

I recently added cruise control to my swap, and everything is working fine. However, I just started throwing PO704 recently. (Clutch Switch Input Circuit) I adjusted the switch thinking it might need a bit more room and it worked for a while. AFAIK the switch is brand new. There are only a few things I can think of that might be causing the issue. The car was originally auto and I wired the clutch switch in series with the brake switch. If I remember correctly, you will see 12v when nothing is depressed. If you press one or the other you no longer see 12 volts. Could it be the ECU is seeing < 12 volts all the time and thinking there is an issue?

The cruise control was working fine but I haven't tested since getting the code. I imagine it will not be working until I clear this code.

Configuration:
ls1
TKX
Stock Tune for M6 car (T56)
Cruise Module from a late-model truck

I also did just disable the PO803 (skip shift) since I do not have a T56?!?!?

Has anyone else seen this issue before?

Thanks
