Re: Time for an update!
looks very well built, you must have alot time into it. that car would sound good with a nice big cam in for the ls1 swap.
Re: Time for an update!
nice project, but im going to have to disagree with one thing: shaving the nose emblem. these cars look naked without them! btw, what wheel and tire combo are you running?
nice work man

rwdtech: Wheels are 18x8 front and 18x10 rear. Tires are 235/40/18 front and 285/35/18 rear. I love the shaved nose emblems, it draws your attention to something else then the emblem, it makes the front end a lot more aggressive.

Gonna agree with Spikez on this one.... Shaved front emblem looks awsome!!! I feel like it was one of my best body mods.

Time? hmmm... I dont really know, I just work on her as money/woman permits. lol Seriously, its more of a money thing.
Body re-assembly alone was a solid 40hours. Making the LS1 harness from scratch was something like 20hours. Sound deadener was about 6-7hours. Re-wiring body harness and other misc. stuff 50hours. Im just taking my time to do everything right, the first time. Its the 3rd time I dissasemble the car, and I aint doing it again. The worst is done and let me tell you, all that $$ and time was worth every bit of it. I can work several hours on her and when Im tired or have to go; close the light, and I dont even have to wash my hands.

Amazing job you have done so far.............
Quick question....how are you going to put gas in it. I saw the cap coming through the drivers inner rear fender but how are you going to access it?

From the trunk trim on the driver side. Camaros (Maybe Birds too) have a locking compartment there, like a small glovebox. That's where Ill access it. Btw, updates coming soon!
