was at the mall today, come out and had a corvette park 3 spots away from me. was blue like mine so i figured id shoot a couple pics, although my car could use a wash and some tire shine! also have not waxed it yet. opinions are welcome. my plans as of right now is to paint the front grill black. and i personally like the way i had the gfx done, i think it shows the contour of them better than including the door piece with it =D. i know a lot of you dont like it but its all good! Car came with a v6 3.1L auto setup. Converted to a 350TPI/700r4 auto with shift kit. Exhaust needs work(not properly hung yet) and i refinished the rims

i think u should get a bowtie grill, paint the wing the color of the body and gfx too

i have thought about the silver on the door but not really sure if i want to, im going to do the grill black for sure, what tire shine product do you use rwd?

i agree it looks good other wise...i use meguires HOT SHINe foam tire shine it works amazingly

I use Armor All Tire Shine Gel. It comes with a foam applicator and doesn't make a mess. Its the best product ive used so far, and i consider myself a tire shine fanatic. Other products ive had good experiences with are Stoners brand tire shine and Meguairs hot shine. Whatever you do, stay away from the foams unless u want to clean the tire as opposed to giving it a lasting shine. Before trying any new tire shine product, its a good idea to totally remove the old product. I use a body solvent called Acrysol and a rag. Its good to clean off the buildup every once in a while.

I agree on the Bowtie grill and body colored soiler. But I do like the FX.

Now, as for painting the door pieces, IIRC, there isn'ta door piece, right? I like the "U" shapeness of them standing out anyways. I guess you could just paint the lower section of the door to match, if you wanted to fill in that area.

Oh yeah...DITCH THE IMPACT STRIPS ON THE SIDES!!!

Looks pretty clean.

You really should paint the spoiler to match the body and if you go for the two tone gfx look paint the door piece. Definitely change the grille.

Your car looks better than the C5.
