New Stuff!!
Woo! My C5s came and I bought some 2002 Trans Am leather seats! I haven't taken any good pictures yet so when I do I'm going to update this thread unless its dead by then.
I bought my brakes from www.bigbrakeupgrade.com and Scott had them put together and shipped in no time! I also sprung a little extra for the Earl's stainless steel lines. While I was at it I bought a new LS1 prop valve and let me tell you, getting that thing on was about as fun as sitting in a tub full of scissors. Getting the brakes on was fun too because each side weighs 53lbs. and I had to hold them up while I tightened down the balljoint nut because the torque wrench wouldn't fit with the strut attached. In the end it was all worth it because these brakes are absolutly incredible. Fill out my 17"s nice too. Yes I know the tire needs a clean and some tire shine.

I was originally planning on getting some leather upholstry for my deluxe interior seats and reupholstering them myself. I've heard the 4th gen seats are more sturdy and when I saw these on eBay I had my heart set on them. After I got them I found out I needed a wiring/hose harness because the air compressor for the lumbar is on the passenger seat and 2 hoses run accross the car for the driver side. So I had to find someone willing to sell me just the harness and then I had to take apart half the interior to put it in. What I'd hard was right though, these seats do feel more sturdy and they're also firmer (but that may be because they're from 2002 not 1991). I'm probably going to get the back seat sometime so the darker seats have more contrast. I also scored some 3rd gen leather door panels off eBay too.

EDIT: Wow my carpet looks bad. Maybe that's

wow nice car! I have 4th gen camaro seats in my 89 trans am and I love them... I matched them with 2002 trans am seatbelts and they are very comfy! I did a color swap also from gray to black....

Re: New Stuff!!
Oh yeah, they were definately worth every penny. Besides, if they even avoid one wreck they'll pay for themselves. These are another mod I can add to the "wouldn't own a 3rd gen without 'em" list.
