My 87' Iroc
I finally got some pictures of my 87 as it stands now. It's probably not the best looking on the site but it's a daily driver and almost all original with the exception of a modified transmission and some proting work done on the upper plenum and runners.

I recently painted the upper plenum and runners in textured metalic graphite and painted the coolant and WW tanks with white fusion paint for plastics. You can't see them very well but I had my valve covers powdercoated in a silver/ transparent black combination as well as the TPI plate powdercoated in red/ clearcoat. (I used to work in a powdercoating plant) My next project will be a fabricated struct tower brace and some more cleanup in the engine compartment.

Re: My 87' Iroc
Thanks, I was going to wax it but the front passenger fender and door were repainted in the last month so I'll wait a bit on that. I have since pulled the coolant and washer bottles out so I can try a little airbrushing on them. I'm also trying to figure out what color to paint the stb when I get it. I'm torn between white and red right now.

Re: My 87' Iroc
I can understand that. The stripes don't do it for everybody but I liked them.
The black stripes come over the car and end just over the rear spoiler lip (rounded) What you can't see are the silver border stripes that start at the front of the louvers (in points) and follow the black ones around. I originally had them put on (about ten years ago) in vinyl but the vinyl started to discolor so I had them painted on.
If I was to do it again I wouldn't put the stripes on the roof, just on the hood and rear hatchlid.
I'll see If I can dig up a better picture of the stripes........
I found alot of pictures of my car, unfortunetly they're almost all accident and rebuild pics. also, since the car is white and the pinstripes are silver they don't show up all that well. This is the closest I could get:
