Re: My IROC

I used night shades on the tail lights. The car has headers, qtp exhaust cutou, and magnaflow catback along wiht a spec stage 1 clutch. engine isnt pretty. but I do have interior from a '91 GTA all black.

Re: My IROC

I'm plannin on just putting iroc badges where the Z28 was on the side skirts and rear bumper. I'm not a big fan of the stripes around the bottom of the car. I may get some door decals too. Sorry for the size on the pics.. I was too lazy to size them down.

nova- I love my magnaflow cat back. It sounds awesome. Although i just had a hanger break back by the muffler on the passenger side. I'm gettin it fixed tomorrow. (good thing the work is still under warranty).

Re: My IROC

sweet iroc! i hate those brake lights on the 86 models. my mother has a gorgeous black/gold 86z28 with the same hideous brick of a light on the hatch...

but besides my rant, your iroc does look awesome. nice and clean. digging the magnaflow/tips as well. usually not a big fan of huge chrome pipes, but those look really good.

clean clean camaro. keep it up!

Re: My IROC

Thanks for the comments! I'm glad you guys think it looks good. Its hard to keep it maintained with school and work. Its almost like I don't have time to work on it anymore. I tried to make it look a little better. If you notice its blacked out with teh rest of the tail lights. The brake lights arent as dark as the turn signal and backup lights but they are still visable. I got tired of the stock look, too ugly for me.. I needed a change. It made the back of the car look a lot better. Once I get the windows tinted it will look 10 times better.

Re: My IROC

your car looks good. I have an 86 iroc also but have not done any more appearance mods besides a spoiler, so far... although I don't have school to contend with at the moment, just work. Did you night shade the outside or the inside of your tail lights? I am wanting to do this also but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Car over heated and had to baby her home. I'm tryin to get a hold of a TPI motor. but we'll see how that goes... i'll let you guys know what i end up doing

Another one that looks like mine........

If you want to sell it the way it is I'll buy the whole car from you. Let me know, I'd be very interested in a twin of my car. I'm in Iowa also.

Re: My IROC

Very nice car. I actually like the pin striping that is typically on these IROCs. I thin if you lowered the car and inch it would like alot better.

Re: My IROC

Iowa isn't much better. It's kind of hard to tell in these pictures, but I've lowered mine, and I don't have very many problems at all.

Stock......

I know your not supposed to do it, but I pulled the stock springs and cut a little bit out of the coils, put them back in, checked the height, pulled them again took off a little more ect........If you do this it's very important that you take out the exact same amount of coils on the front, and on the back.

I wouldn't recommened doing this with a car you're going to use as a daily driver. My car gets about 1,000 miles a year (if that) put on it, so it's not a big deal. It actually rides pretty nice, doeasn't bounce like lowrider, and it handles awesome.

Re: My IROC

so... how much did the car drop by going through this process.

the reason im asking is that i wanna lower my car , and the stance on your maro is killer.

my car is also a daily driver in (new york) so cutting coils isnt one of my options.
