Engine bay "tidy up" complete and cars finally running

Well, 4 long years of this project and the light is seen at the end of the tunnel. Here's the engine I'm running (specs in my sig) but I haven't put the belt on my blower yet because I'm still tuning the engine and need to get a dyno session in before I put the blower into the equation. Car ran like a raped ape today though on a shotty tune & motor alone....well into the 300+ RHWP according to the seat of my pants gauge.

WOW nice car, from those specs it should be way more RWHP than 300.

cooter, thanks. The guy I had build my engine was funny. He's known in New England for being the crew cheif of the winning team for a race circuit called ACT (American Canadian Tour). Kinda like a Busch JR,JR circuit. Anyhow, he was the brother in-law of a friend of mine and I asked him to build me an enigne. He worked with me on EVERY detail of the project which was nice. I later found out that not only was he the crew chief but he was the owner of team and won the last 3 years in a row at the time. After he built my short block he put an intake on and a 750cfm carb to dyno it. The engine made almost 435 HP at the flywheel. That was 3 years ago when he did that. It took me this long to get my project completed. I'm now in the tuning stage with my EFI (TPI). I'm hoping to still get around 400 at the flywheel.

Hehehe...I didn't notice the wrench until after I took the pic. I couldn't believe I took it like that but oh well. I should photoshop it out. I can't remember where I bought that breather. I bought it thinking it'd take the place of my oil fill cap but I'm thinking I'll need something a bit bigger.

BTW, don't buy a blower. They're WAY over rated.............wait... F that...buy it. I shart my pants the first time I had it installed on my 350 and took the car for a spin....

Tmic87TPI, there Black Ice ROH RT's (17").I wouldn't call my car nice........yetOnce she's tuned and then blower installed and tuned again I'll say its nice. If she drives/runs anything like she did today I'm going to go broke from buying new clean shorts!!!

You're from CT?? You should checkout the movement we've got gonig. We're like 23 people right now. Last meet we had (BBQ at my place) had 10 of us with cars. Our hope is to form a solid group and start the club off right attending Worchester Summer Nats in 08. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
