A little update on my car!

Well I just got my new Victor JR. intake & billet master cylinder in and I am re-installing the gear drive because I love that sound...so now I'm just waiting for my new rims to arrive

You got it, I have been running manual brakes now for 2 years...you just have to press a little harder on them but in time you do get used to it.
The reason been is that my cam is pretty lumpy and there wasn't enough vaccum for the power brakes to work and I didn't want to install a vaccum pump in the engine bay...so I opted for the manual set up which back in 1966-1967 Corvette had a master cylinder for manual 4-disc brakes, you can see the old "brand new Corvette" master cylinder in the 2nd pic

Re: A little update on my car!

any difference in pedal feel from the old master cly to the new one?
did the vette master cyl require you to drill a hole up on the pedal as others require?

lookin good! those wheels are nice.

The pedal is a little stiffer & and you do feel the brake more on your foot, about the drilling I really don't know...I didn't install it myself...as far as I could tell you it went straight in with no drilling!

you wil get a lil better feel and less effort if the pushrod is moved up on the pedal. you have to do that wil all others, or youll really have to stick your foot on it.

Yeah I have the B&M Ratchet shifter with a Hurst **** "Sidewinder" I like that **** because it has the button for my line-lock on the side rather that the top...it's much easier to engage the line-lock that way!

Beautiful!

Hey, sorry to Hijack, but what's the economy in Toronto like right now? They say doom and gloom for all of Ontario, but my last visit to the T-dot showed otherwise. Is there much work?
