Re: My 1989 RS
89 IROC here...and black is awesome...mines silver though..haha

What must you do to her?

What are your plans....?

I used to be a youngin...but Im 20 now...I was maybe 11-12 when i got into cars. My brother had a lumina with a system, so I started looking at what i could do to cars...ended up getting my camaro at 18 for $2600 after saving and researching for the best bet...

Definitely post more pictures....even if they arent that good or she has no make-up on....haha.

Re: My 1989 RS
She is a 6, and i got her free! I have to replace fuel lines, and the seats could use some work. i need to find an emblem for the rear bumper, and it needs a paint job big time! Next time i see her, I will take pics with a camera instead of my phone. Probably won't be for a while though. She's got a 2.8l V6 with MFI. I need more. Any tips or advice you guys got for me?

Re: My 1989 RS
Good to see the younger crowd getting involved with cars...and especially
3rd gens. I've been seeing alot of 3rd generation Camaro's and Firebird's getting restored, which is always a good thing! So...what are you plans for it??

Re: My 1989 RS
Well, first off, I just want to get it so I can drive it when I can drive. After that, i don't know what I want to do besides a new paint job, and new interior.

Re: My 1989 RS
It was my uncles car, and he was going to get rid of it, just when I got into these cars, so I asked if I could fix it up and have it. I have to keep it at his place cause I can't keep it where I live. He lives a while away, and is never home. But at least I got the keys!

Re: My 1989 RS
For the Camaro, I have to get the engine to run, replace headliner, seats, put taillights back in, put exhaust back on, basically rebuild the car!

i dont know if your interested, but i will be upgrading to some billet emblems soon, so if your interested i will sell you my stock grey RS emblems for cheap. and i unno what your plans are for the interior, but i will also have a full set of red seats for sale also. they are mint. so pm me if you are interested in either.

Re: My 1989 RS
Mass huh? You're not too far from me. Car sounds like it needs some work, but I'm sure nothing you can't handle. Its always fun to learn all about a car by fixing it up. Good luck with it, and take care of it. (I bet you'll be wanting more power before ya know it....engine swap!)

Re: My 1989 RS
Instead of the irocs I can sell ya the old wheels off my SS, 17x9 with 2 275/40/17 kumhos $250

BTW I started with a 89 rs when I was 16 and got my SS at 18, now Im 19 and finishing up my nitrous kit, Its an expensive hobby but worth it, between the 2 cars I have spent almost $20,000 and about to spend $14oo in mods next week.
A quck piece of advice: never go to LS1TECH.com, it will end up costing you tens of thousands of dollars
this was my RS
