Almost done after 10 years

I has been a labor of obsessive compulsive disorder, tons of cash and even more time but I think I may have something to be proud of finally.

Opinions and comments?

WOW! The paint is amazing. Looks like you could eat out of the engine bay...
Any interior shots? Also, are you keeping the draglites on it?

That's a beautiful looking car. Job well done! Didn't really seem like 10 years did it? Time flies, I'm sure the car will too!

Re: Almost done after 10 years

The car looks great. Nice paint, and a simple, yet good looking engine. I like how you stayed away from using too much chrome under the hood.

I'm not a big fan of the seat covers. But hey, if you like them, have at it

Where in the heck did you find the contour fabric? I've been looking for the blue contour fabric for years.

WHAT???

Very nice, lots of work I respect that, the only thing i have to complain about is the ZR1 wheels...they are overdone so much esp on camaros. Other than that fantastic car and a job well done!

Re: Almost done after 10 years

Definitely an "A" for patience.

I like everything about it except the aforementioned door handles.

That has to be one of the nicest third-gens on the road now.

Don't you love the tread on those Kumho's? Mine look great.

Re: Almost done after 10 years

Funkdubie, can you tell us about the fabric on your seats. I say it's contour fabric from 83-85. I have never seen repro seat covers with the "Camaro" insignia. If they are by chance seat covers please post where you got them.

Re: Almost done after 10 years

Definitely not seat covers...it is actual fabric I found at an upholstery shop in Chattanooga about 13 years ago.. here are some new pics too

----------
love the tread, pretty sticky too..
----------
they are not zr1 wheels, bought them from hawks third gen, they resemble them though, they are hyperblack, very cool in the sunlight.

If anyone would care to donate a near perfect nose emblem to contribute to the project that would just tickle me pink........

Wow that's clean man, I like the hugger orange. You don't seem many third-gens that color.

BTW, do you happen to have any more detailed pics of the gauge swap?

Not really, I just used autometer ultralite's and cut a piece of plexiglass, painted the back of it black and cut the holes
