Re: the new car i have been building

First picture looks nice. I would like it a bit more if the door jambs were painted to match the body. Whats up w/ the headlights? Blacked out? Other wise nice work!

6500 bucks and you didnt even spray the door jambs. Thats askin alot for a car with an incomplete paint job. Hows the running gear in the car? That color does look nice tho

i havent painted the jams yet... i have been busy i had thought i had it sold yesterday and i went to deliver it today, the a/c doesnt work so the guy didnt want it... the car is over 20 years old everything on it works but the a/c. so i am really pretty pissed about that. the car was just painted two weeks ago, the underhood isnt painted to match either. the car only has 36,000 original miles. it is worth what i am asking and i will get that for it its just a matter of time. i gotta respray the jams and a couple other things and then it will go on ebay. low mileage thirdgens are going for a good bit surprisingly.

and ya the headlights are blacked out so are the taillights. i tinted the windows myself the other day. the first pic looks good b/c of the sunlight the others are at sundown and the paint really looks best in the daytime.

I'd go threw and put all new lighting on it like ya did on the other car. Give it a cleaner look. I think the blacked out stuff gives it a dingy look. Just my 2 cents tho!

It looks awesome. You have a nice eye for these cars. I really love your maroon one. IMO I think I would like the headlight buckets painted black. They just look weird yellow to me, might be something that might grow on me though.
