Looks great!

I've got some tire life left on my 285s right now but I want 315s SOOOO bad...Maybe I should just go 10.5"? Specs are for a 10"-12" wheel, so I'm still within the recommended range. Not IDEAL, but not bad either...

Re: TODAY'S 3 DIFFERNT UPGRADES ,18'S ,IROC GRILL, NEW 145 MPH CLUSTER

Hey

Yesterday I also forgot to tell you that I changed my front 245's

I changed them because when I baught the 245/45/18 I was planing to go for 275/45/18 on the back and after I decided to go for 295's x 35

I sit down across the road staring at my baby and I noticed that the front of the car was a bit higher because of the higher front tires profile

Thats why yesterday I went to the tire shop and baught the Toyo 245/40zr18 for the front and now front and rear are same height as the rear 295/35/zr18

Now my next plans are c5 zo6 rotors and calipers and I am not sure if I go for sportlines or pro kit ??

The problem is because my car originally was with 2.8 v6 and now with 350 v8 with iron heads and I think its already low but the ride is too soft and want it stiffer for better handling!
after that will go for new shocks althaugh I have no idea for which brand I have to put my eyes on!

The better if I find something in Europe as everytime I buy something from USA I pay a lot of duty charges!!

please help me decide!!

you was the one that most encourage me to do this thing with widening the rims i most like on 3rd gens!

unfortunately only 1 rim is ready from the machine shop but next week i think it will be in my hands!!

what are you doing so nice at the moment on the car??
my next mods ae big brakes ,lowering and cowl hood!!

if you want you can also email me on vox@onvol.net and will be happy if you send some pics of your car!!

if you read the posts before i went to 245/45 on the front but after i put 295/35 they were ugly compared to the rears and baught another 2 tires! 245/40

i will post other pics when car ids finally read!!

thanks agian mr iroc!!!

You are wrong...the block steering wheel is not an airbag steering wheel so he would be replacing a non airbag wheel with a better looking non airbag wheel...look close Stephen

Since you have no tact in correcting people, neither will I in response to you. Look again yourself...I made NO mention of the O.P. My post was to YOU, not him. I made no reference to HIS steering wheel. His is OBVIOUSLY a non-airbag steering wheel.

YOU referred to replacing an air-bag steering wheel with a pre-airbag steering wheel. My post even quoted YOU.

I was wondering about that exhaust myself, I really like the look of it. How does it sound? Any sound clips of it?

I have plenty of tact. I have been posting on this site for many years(Since year 2000 - 2,600 post) and NO ONE has ever said that to me. I never considered the inspection thing because everywhere does not have inspections such as where I live. In Illinois we don't have the safety inspection so like I said I never considered that option. If he does not have inspections then he can put on a non air bag steering wheel. In fact he already has a non air bag wheel on his car.

Now let's take a look at my post you are attempting to correct me on. Be sure to take a gander at the picture of his interior (post # 1) in his original post.

When I looked at the interior picture (post #1 third picture to the right) of his car he has the "block" steering wheel. That is the same wheel that came on my '86 from the factory. There was no airbag in '86. So I look at his '89 which has obviously has the "block" because he does not have an air bag wheel on his car. air bag steering wheels started in Camaro's in '90. My suggestion is to remain with the non or pre airbag steering wheel and switch to an even earlier wheel such as the three spoke wheel from the early 80's. They look much better than the "block" in my opinion. I don't have a picture of the one I am suggesting but the Project (post#36 this thread) has one in his signature. The O.P. understood what I was saying in post # 23. So did a lot of other posters like in post #20, 21 & 22. Sorry if you were offended but my suggestion which was a good one since the O.P. does not currently have an airbag so obviously he does not have to deal with the safety inspection either.

For you Tom and Jerry!!!

my steering wheel is the ugliest you can have with square horn button and its there since the car came out of van nuys!! its the original one!!

its a non air bag wheels and wish to upgrade to a round horn button?(z28- iroc)???

and none of you helped me find one to change it!!

but I think will fit an after market wheel as shiping and duty are too much as soon I import from USA

cya

by the way today I got the other rim from the machine shop and tomorrow will post pics with the wide rears!!
