well after sitting in my back yard for a year and a half, the iroc is almost done, has an hsr swap not with some c6 rims 19X10 rear, 18X8.5 front with 315's rear and 255's up front, still needs alot of work but i like the way it looks with the c6's just needs a fresh coat of paint as the clear coat faded up top

full shot(don't mind my cat)

the c6's with 315's corsas tucks in nicely with 2" drop

just lookign for some friendly criticism, for future mods

Not a huge fan of the C-6 rims, in fact really don't like them. However WOW looks great. Only Camaro I have EVER seen where I liked them. GOOD JOB, I hope someday my Camaro looks even Close to that good.

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
Looks good , but it seems the car has alot of orange peel on it already. Might want to really wet sand/buff that out before you repaint it. It might come out real good. w/o a repaint.

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
yeah i kinda figured i could just wet sand an dmaybe a polish would do the car soem justice until paint time rolls around, but the front clip has soem chips so thats why its in need of a new paint job along with the new ss hood i plan on tossing on.

haha I must of looked at these pictures 6 different times and I'm just now noticing the cat...
I'd put a disk rear end it in to fill out the wheel better. Looks good though.

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
looks pretty good you just need some c6 door handles than it would really set off with those wheels. Do you have any engine bay pics? Do you drive your car much on the street?

Love all the work you have done...it's definitely a winner. Great color. Maybe a wetsand to make the paint really shine

Sir your car looks great. What springs are you using? Also do you have pics of the inner fender wells that you had to beat to death?

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
grover85 il take a pic of the inner fender laters. all i did was grab a hammer and begin the pounding, wasnt much but i only have about 1/4" clearence, thats only enough to roll the car but im sure i will need more clearance therefore i will later have to do soem cutting and rewelding, also need to replace my lca's which is the next mod in line to get soem more room, thanks every1 for the complememts, a few more parts arrived from summit yesterday so most important is to do some tunning on the hsr and get the car in good running condition

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
rims bolted right up just added 2" adapters all the way around, could of maybe used 1.7" in the rear but didnt want to have to cut my inner fender wall(2 much) and i only paid 225 on ebay from a local seller so shipping was free, most expensive and hard to find are the rear 19"wheels. i opted to buy used since 300 a tire is a bit much, and after a month or 2 of looking around my tire shop got me a used but in great shape of pirrelli's for 120 the set hope that helps

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
springs are cut, had to do alot of trial and error, it used to sit even lower on my old 17's but the 18's up front raised it up a bit which is good considering i've had clearence issue with the y pipe and constantly having to replace header gaskets, i know dropped isn't every1's style but it sure is mine

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
im actually not using poppers, tacky as it sounds i use my alarm to roll the windows up and down to gain entry to the car, i think its kinda cool to have to reach in to open the door(exept when it rains) but thats hardly ever here in sunny southern cali. i eventually want poppers when i begin driving the car on a regular but with those heavy *** doors im unsure what might work, but shaved is definitely he way to go much cleaner look

Re: pics of my 88 iroc
dude, this is the first time i've seen this post. i love it man. car is just clean. not over the top, not over done, not underdone. very well put together. the drop looks great, not like import low, more muscle low. lol. those rims look really nice. i wish they made them in a polished billet aluminum style, instead of just silver or chrome. that would really set it off.
how hard was it to shave the handles? im considering that and my antenna and 3rd BL as well. when i get to that point. haha
anyway. killer car man. keep up the good work.
