My new 83

I wanted to post some pics up and say that this site is awsome and I have learned a lot from all of you. I picked this up about 6 months ago for $2400. It has a 350 ZZZ and a 700r4 in it. New to the domestic thing but not cars.

Re: My new 83

If it wasn't so tall I'm sure it would look better. Maybe some do some work to it to make it look better?

Looks nice dude. Good find. Any interior shots?

I have the exact same color interior in my car! I love the brown. One of the best colors in the camaro. Mine is also an 83!

Re: My new 83

Should get yourself some newer style seats, those ones look a bit "worn". Nice car though man, I'm diggin' it!

Re: My new 83

i'm gonna say "wow, very cool" even though gfx cars and huge spoilers don't usually do it for me. i would even go as far as to say i REALLY like that spoiler, even though it'd normally be over the top for me. i don't know, maybe it's cause the car is white and i have a bit of a soft spot for white cars...either way, excellent job, great deal you got there, and please please, take good care of her.

my ONLY suggestions:

-loose the stripe...it dates the car
-update the interior. note: i didn't not say completely CHANGE the interior, but rather, just update it to a more modern color and some more comfortable seats. i'm running fourthgen seats in both my camaro and my firebird and i love them both. they sit me a little lower in the car which is good for taller folks and my firebird seats are power, which is just cool

Re: My new 83

I like the stripe, although I think you need to "box" it with a contrasting blue. I photoshopped something close to what I mean.

Re: My new 83

Looks nice.. I have an 83 myself.. Doesn't look as nice as yours but im getting there.

Only thing id change is the wheels.. Either put stock colored z28 rims on or some 17" chrome wheels on it.
