Re: ...BURNiNG OUT...???
pop it in first, hold down the brakes but not all the way, push gas, peddle the brakes and gas let off the brake. Next post regular English might help out a ton

My eyes hurt from reading this....I thought this was some sort of brain teaser to decode. You need to stop texting like this...
I would say to make more power...that is the easiest way to spin the tires. Powerbraking works if money is tight. Start with a tuneup for more power...and probably better mileage too.

Re: ...BURNiNG OUT...???
That is what I thought...hmm...maybe someone from the Mustang board is bored tonight...let's go to Thirdgen and have some fun.
I thought about it though. Maybe I was a little hard on the kid. After all, I couldn't type like that if my life depended on it. That has to be some sort of skill for the resume...

Re: ...BURNiNG OUT...???
please stop talking like that, you're giving my generation a bad name.
in order to get your tires to spin to achieve a burnout with the "CLOUD OF SMOK3" heres the step by step;
1. go to walmart
2. find the sign section
3. buy a "for sale" sign
4. you guessed it! your Camaro's going to a good home
5. buy a civic.
okay now that I got that out, listen to the advice that "rough" gave you, that will work. but depending on your car you may have a peg leg rear end meaning that in a burnout only one tire will spin. if this happens... well all I'm gonna say is I hear those civics will make both wheels spin!!

Re: ...BURNiNG OUT...???
This post can be summed up as PEBKAC
Or for the un-informed
Problem
Exists
Between
Keyboard
And
Chair
Burnouts in a auto thirdgen are easy. Heck, even the V6's can do a decent one tire fire.
Put car in Drive
Put left foot on Brake and depress fully
Put right foot on Gas and depress Fully
Beware of cops.

but yea anyways!!! or you can use bleach or something that is slippery
or better yet find some smooth pavement like... a garage?
Manuals are good for burning out in!! until you let a friend drive it and he tries and ends up ripping your rear end out? ( R.I.P Posi ) ( for now )

Re: ...BURNiNG OUT...???

lol, any other way to do this?
i used to try to do burnouts on dry pavement, but nothing would happen, i would just be revving the engine and no tires spinning

(at least i can spell!

Re: ...BURNiNG OUT...???
guys, it think you scared him off.
what works well is using that tire shine stuff thats used to make tires have that brand new look to them and put it on the tread, and then you can nail the throttle and get some good burnouts in, just be careful when it comes to stopping, that tire crap is basically oil and it will affect the way your car stops.
