Took some advice, since the new weels added a taller tire, Lowered the rear 1.5 inches. Cut 1.5 coils out of the rear springs. Not only does it ride better in the rear, but we added some trailering arms and a panhard bar. Looks much better to me now!!!!!
Thanks for all the advise

You cut 1.5 coils???
What springs did you cut? What is the measurement from the ground to the bottom edge of the fender lip?
I've cut 3/4 coil off the rear springs before & can't imagine cutting double that!

lol thats what i was thinkin stephen, i dont think id ever cut off more than 3/4, but i guess it all depends on how high the a$$ was in the air. maybe he cut it an didnt let it settle yet?? idk im just making assumtions.

Simply jacking my car up all the way & lowering back down, without moving it to let it settle, without even touching the springs, raises my car a good 2"!
I hope for his sake, that isn't the case. The car will drop like 4"!

yep mine to, every time i raise it then lower it i have to dirve around the block a couple times and do a brake check to try to get back to normal lol.
so scottjake, please clear up the confusion, what springs did you use and did you let the car settle??

Yes, there were an unknown, set of hotchkis springs on the car, we cut one and a half coils from the end of the top coil, re-installed the insulators and set 'er down. The car has been driven appx, 45 miles since the cutting and we lost 1.25 inches of ride height. from 28" to 26.75".
It has had time to settle.
The ride is much improved as well.
