Awesome car, i always liked this roadster conversion. Never seen one in person, though...
What's with the wrong nose section, though? it clashes with the style of everything else on your car

Re: Pics of my 84 Camaro Z28 Autoform conversion

Basically, an 84 should have a nose just like this:

You have an 85-onward nose piece there, but the hood and the skirts around the car are all 82-84 (you can see how they're actually thinner than the chin spoiler...). The rear spoiler is also 82-84... a bit thinner and subtler than the later ones.
But like I said, don't worry about it! It's a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL car. I'm just suggesting that if you ever find a correct nose piece for your year somewhere, it might be worth buying.
You see, the early thirdgen Z28's, 1982-84 are now quite rare. Especially those two-seater roadster conversions! These are few and far between. Correct parts for the early thirdgens are getting hard to find, too. That's why I think it would be so fantastic to restore this beauty back to her 1984 look

Until then, installing an IROC or RS grille in the empty grille opening would be nice, too.
Anyway, don't worry too much about what I'm saying... it's your car and your taste and opinion come first.
I'm a bit curious... How long have you had this car, how much did you pay, basically what's the story behind it? It's pretty damn awesome

I have had the car about a month.Guy I bought it off of only had it a few years but didn't drive it much and was selling it to buy a boat.I paid $3000 for it.The soft top is missing but I have found a place that is going to make me one for $600.Other than that everything is there and working,it has 90k original miles on it.It has the LG4 305.I have been driving it on sunny days and now that I have a top being made for it,it will be my daily driver. It is a fun car almost every camaro or muscle car I see stops and asks me about it

I think it looks better with the modern nose. I really have a love affair with these cars and will own one of those one day. If I had the cash, i'd take one of these to foose and have him remake the back of it so that its closer to the windshield line somehow. Thats the only flaw I every found with these . Either that or perhaps chop the windshield a bit.
