I have an 87 camaro in fantastic condition, except my decals, I have silver paint lining the bottom of the car then a big 1 1/2 strip silver decal with a red decal slapped in the middle, then three small silver decals spaced above it, looks pretty good but my decals are wearing and i would really like to get the exact decals in a set if i could but CANNOT FIND THEM....are they stock? any help would be super thanks.

 

I don't think those would be stock as I have never seen them on my car or any other 2.8L. It may be something that a previous owner put on it. You maybe able to get an exact copy if you were to find a place online to make decals, unless of course I'm completely wrong and these are stock.

yes i'll send you a picture later today, but the previous owner was my uncle and he said he didn't put them on he bought it from a dealer like that.

 

I know the bra's not stock my uncle put that on and I just left it, but I do believe the decals are unless the dealer had them put on..but if that was the case where would they have got it done..there is no real body shop by the dealer I got the car from around here uhhh I need those decals.


It is three silver/gray lines followed by 1 big sliver/gray line with a red stripe in the middle of the big one.

 

Did you buy the car new? and if the dealer put them on when new, Then THEY put them on, they wouldnt have a body shop do it.

 

my uncle bought the car new and it came with the decals on, I doubt a dealer could put them on with such perfection, but the declas on the otherside are peeling off and are ripping etc..I need new ones and was wondering if a place online sells custom made decals or if this is an actual part i can buy stock, cuz i know the z28's have decals you can buy in a set.

 

They most likely then came with those stripes from the factory, and i doubt you will be able to find them.

 

My 1987 SC had those stripes on it as well. I've never seen any replacements for sale in any of the Camaro parts catalogs I've looked at.
