As the title says, i was curious as to how long everyone has owned theirs. As i have owned mine shortly after i joined the Marines. Some 14 years ago. So chime in and show your age!

 

2 years.

 

I bought my 92 in 1997 with about 67K miles on the clock. 13 years later, I still daily drive it and have racked up the miles to 243K.

My 89 was added in 2006 as a project and has seen some interior, suspension and brake upgrades with motor/tranny swap planned for sometime in the future

 

i like the purple!!!!!

 

Fifteen years at the end of this month. No plans of selling!

 

I'm the sole owner of my 1992. I'll have her 18 yrs this August. Bought her brand new in Germany.

 

im guessing somewhere around 18yrs give or take a few. btw im 13 so i got it at the age of -5 yrs young.

 

I got my '92 brand new when I was a Senior in High School.

 

bought my 86 in 87. they'll have to pry the title out of my dead hands

 

This is Firebird number six for me and I've had this one for the past five years. I'm looking forward to having it for many more years.

 

I got my 91 Z two weeks ago on April 18, 2010, and God willing will never sell it.

 

This is my second IROC (I really regretted selling my last one) and this one is nearly perfect. Ive owned her 15 months, she's a 3rd car and my fun summer car. Will never sell.

Original owner, bought the 1987 IROC-Z one month after it was built at the Norwood Plant. 23yrs and counting.

 

Let's see.... bought the current 1991 Z28 on 4/22/10, however I started buying them literally 10 years ago. Bought my first, a 1992 RS in May of 2000 (although its been gone for a while, as have my other 3rdgens)

 

Bought mine back on December 2nd, 2009. So exactly 5months i've had it.

I have had my camaro for 25 years.

 

I picked up my iroc on 11/6/1996 so I've had it for a little over 13 years. Got it off the used car lot of a chevy dealership. Its my 3rd thirdgen but my first iroc. I've had a base 89 rs with a 6 cylinder 5 speed(no options what so ever) and a 88 plain camaro with a 6 cylinder auto but with options and t-tops. Also had a 79 camaro berlinetta but thats a second gen.

i bought my first camaro (1985 z/28) when i was 16 in 2004 was my first car naturally i spent more time beating on it and showing off than taking care of it so it pretty messed up its in the process of being restored 100 percent stock then i bought an 1985 iroc last september so goin on 8 months here and i just found an 87 z/28 about three weeks ago for 600 bucks so there ya have it and i have no intention of getting rid of any of them in fact i plan on getting more

This was my last F-body I bought. Owned a '87 IROC-Z, '89 Formula 350, '91 Z28 and a '92 Z28 conv. for 3 months which was traded obviously for the one above...

I've had mine since September of 2000.Im the second owner.

 

I've only had mine for 1 year but I bought it from my granmother who was the original owner, so it's been in my family since new.

 

I am the second owner of my car and now I have had it for 21 years!

 

I bought mine in September of 2005, around a year before I got my permit. 1985 Camaro Z28!

My first car, I'm the second owner, and I've had it for 5 years now. I will never sell it! It's the best looking car in the world to me! I've had to push it several times now, but will never let it go.

I'm the original owner of my 92 Camaro Z28 Convertible. It's currently under restoration.

 

I got my 84 Camaro SC in september of 08. I was 17 at the time, im now 19. And it was my first car! When I got it, it had about 90k on it, but there is no room for a 6th digit on the milage so now my car says it has like 2k on it lol

WOW I am really surprised with how long some of us has owned our thirdgens!
I'm on my 7th year of ownership in my car. I told the wife that when I die I want a special tomb built so the car can be my coffin. Just prop me up in the driver seat and call it good,lol

Sweet, I have a good friend of mine that lives out near there. We do alot of racing on old 66, just before you hit Valle Vista.

I thought about gettin' burried in it ' cause it'll probly kill me some day, but ya know, t-tops have a history of little leaks, so by the time they covered us, with my luck, the tops would " leak " & leave a huge booty divot in the ground!! HAHA LOLol

 

Bought it September 2nd of 08, two days after my 16th birthday so one year eight months and six days first car got her for 1000 bucks took 50 cent part to make her run and driven her till she dies then, ill just drop another motor in her. YEAH BUDDY....rollin like a big shot

 

I will have had my 91 for 6yrs, this Jne, I will never sell it....

Bought mine in '99. Here is what it looks like now..

 

Since August 16th 2003, so nearly 7 years now. It's changed quite a bit and sucked up more than its share of my money in that time!
