I have an 82 Z28 , I had it painted and it's pretty plain looking right now. I always like the Iroc door decals and thought about putting those on mine but don't know if I should since it's not a true Iroc since they came out in 86 I believe. This thread may sound stupid to some but I guess I can look at it this way of being a clone. Any input is appreciated.

 

Why not do it if you like it? Thats all that matters anyways. I know some will be against it, but hey it is your car. BTW the Iroc's first year of production was 85

Yeah man, just do what you like. I mean, I have an '84 sc with Z/28 ground effects and an '86 Iroc nose, 4th gen seats etc. It's kind of a MaroMutt I guess. I think your's would look good with the black and silver Iroc stripe kit that runs around the bottom of the car.

yeah man.....its your car do what you want with it, unless you are trying to keep it all original...then why not. i have a 82 berlinetta that had all z28 options.....so i made it a custom z28 clone
just put on emblems on rockers...no pics yet

I still haven't put any decals or pin striping on the car yet, anyone have some custom pin striping or decals done that i can get an idea, not quite copy but get a good idea of what to put on?
