Added another Camaro to the stable, what to do with it?
My dad and I picked up another Camaro last week that we found on craigslist. Actually my dad saw it on craigslist after it was only posted for 35 minutes, and he went over and bought it right on the spot. It was about 5 miles from my house. We paid $800 for it with a clean title.
So right now we've got 4 Camaros between the two of us. I've got my convertible, he's got his '89 IROC-Z which we just finished his LS1 swap, we have this car, and I've got a purple '92 parts car that I'm about to take to the scrap yard this week.
Quick run down:
1992 Camaro RS coupe 111,000 miles
Texas car with ZERO rust
305TBI / 5spd
no rear defrost (this is the first one I've ever seen out of the 10 or so 3rd gens I've had that didn't have rear defrost, it's kind of cool really, gives it a real clean look!)
It needs the hood and roof painted, along with some other minor body work just a few dings here and there. It's a very solid car though. It has a blown head gasket that is being fixed next week. Right now we're trying to decide what to do with it. We will either fix it and flip it for profit, or we might keep it around for a while, maybe give it to my wife since we sold her '87 IROC-Z about 2 years ago so I could use the money to finish my LS2 swap...

Speaking of my wife's old car, we had it back in my dad's driveway again today because my uncle blew the motor in it. So we had to tow it to a shop to get the engine taken out, he's replacing the 305TPI with a Jasper 350 crate motor and will be keeping the 305 heads and using the TPI system or getting an HSR for it.

Nice find! Wish I could score cars like that where I live!
Hope your gonna port those heads, cause they wont flow enough for a 350.

It's not getting parted out. Were having the head gasket fixed next week and then we will license it and probably drive it around town while fixing the paint issues. We will maybe keep it a year or until end of summer then sell it.

Is that white paint or primer on the roof and hood?
