My first car. (:
My first car. (:
After getting my license back in January I talked my dad into letting me get a Camaro Z28. (He was a little skeptical because he had an 02 Z28, and wasn't sure if I was ready for a car like this, but I convinced him.) Then after three months of convincing my mom to letting me get a Z28 I finally got my 1991 Camaro. Here are some pictures after I cleaned it up.

And keep it safe... Even though they aren't the fastest engine's they still have tho torque to kick the end out on the gravel or on a rainy day (I am 16, so take it from me please. I got my first car in january, a 89 rs. and it is a monster on a rainy day.)

Or, learn how to drive the one you have. I daily my camaro in everything but heavy snow where they salt the hell out of everything, and the reason I can do so, is mostly because I know my car, and the "driver mod".

Untill you know your car... Drive like a granny!!!!! There are getting to be fewer and fewer of these cars around. You now own a piece of someone else's hard work and joy. You think you feel bad about driving it in rain right now... Wait 'till you wreck it! You'll be heart broken! I know I nearly cried when my first car was pulled up onto the wrecker. Of course this is after I pulled almost everything I though I could use out of it and put into my current car!
A honda.. you can hop in and go. A Camaro is a different beast all together. Honda's are a dime a dozzen.. A camaro.. if you wreck it any time soon.. dont post it here.. we'll all hate you for it hahah

Re: My first car. (:
I do.. but it also depends on the color of the car.... Mine being Gloss black, flat black headlight buckets wouldn't work... here is one thing you can do though. Without painting it. Get some black vinyl wrap and do your buckets in the wrap and see how you like it first. Its all about what you like.... not others... There are a lot of very opinionated people here and they voice their own likes, much like the black buckets, and there are others that would like it the way it is now. Personally a car has to flow. having too many colors throws the eye off as there are too many points to reference and thus the total appreciation of a car is lost. I love Black and chrome so thats what I did my exterior in. My interior is Black and red and have a few subtle highlights around the car and in engine bay that has a small bit of red in it just to continue the flow of colors. Personally... I like your car just the way it is. Always do a test with something removable before you actually go ahead and do something paint wise, Its easier to remove something than it is to try to repaint and match

I like it and I also like the white headlight buckets. And your white z28 grille and since you have the white blisters I think it ties together nicely.
There is just something about the white/ red combo I love

Beautifull car mate. Make sure to keep some weight in the rear to keep in planted (Tool box, jack, jack stands, water, and other usefull things). Take it slow, don't street race this early, and get to know your car. Be aware of your surroundings, and plan ahead for when your on the road. Notice traffic flow and adjust your driving, lanes of choice, and speed accordingly. And if you DO wreck it, I'll kill you. Unless you die in the wreck. Cause that would be awkward. Anyway good luck with your car mate. And nice find!

A true z28 has balck headlight buckets. I had a 78 z28 & a 79 camaro. The z28 had black headlight bezels & the 79 had chromed plastic bezels.
I bet a white Z28 grill will pull it all together. The black grill needs black buckets. Thats my oppinion. No matter what, you got a sweet car.

I am displaying sarcasm to indicate the sheer immaturity of calling something "faggy" as a form of expressing dislike towards something.
