MAROON88IROC is back in the game!
I havent been active on this site in a few years but I was on here all the time when I was building this car so some here may remember me. Ive gone through several life changes which has moved my attention away from the iroc, but I have decided to change it up a bit and get it back out into the light. I have loved the "setup" of my car for many years but I needed to tweek it to get my interest back into it. So I picked up some wheels. Not just any wheel my favorite of all time. I hope you guys enjoy the pics. This was a short 30 minute photoshoot I did with the car b/c the rain scared her back into the garage (I am using a Xti Canon DSLR & corel paintshop pro for the finishing touches)
This is what the car looked like a of yesterday morning (has been like this for the past 5-8 years.

New wheels.. CCW Classics

I'll save my favorite shot for last

Dude welcome back! I wondered if you had sold it or what. I know you were trading out cars like socks there for a while
Anyways the car and the pics look great. The new CCW's really improved the look of that car significantly. Great choice. What are the spec's? Anything else new to the car?
Again welcome back!

Loving the new rims man, the 17inch irocs did look amazing too though. Wanted to say that the wide mouth on the front nose cone looks awesome, really gives the front end a badass look. Been thinking of doing it to my car and after seeing yours, it's a done deal as soon as I can shovel my car out of the snowbank. Great to have you and your sexxy car back. (:

Spec's on the wheels are 245/45/17 on a 17x9 up front and 285/35/18 on the 18x10 out back, These are 50mm offset wheels to fit a 4th gen so I am using a 2" spacer up front and 1.5" spacer in the rear. Nothing else new to the car though Its pretty much stock drivetrain. #'s matching 305 TPI with a L98 cam, converted to manual 5-speed, and 3.45 gear posi 9 bolt which I will soon be swapping back to the stock 2.73 10 bolt, or having a spare 3.23 gear 10 bolt rebuilt b/c my 9 bolt whines on decel. I need to so some work on the interior as it is showing its age.. the dash pad finally cracked about a year ago and i'd like to throw a new carpet set in. Another thing on the list is having the front chin spoiler repainted.. I drove this car to my wedding almost 2 years ago and got a flat pulling up to the church that morning. I rushed to a shop to fix it before all the air leaked out and pulled up and bumped a curb pretty good with the spoiler..
thanks everyone for the compliments! I am planning to start getting the car out more often this year, really looking forward to that.

Awesome to see you back in the game! I really loved that metallic light blue C4 you had... Can we get some pictures of the cars you have had recently? I remember you having pretty similar tastes as me..

The stance is so mean looking. There's a ton of folks with aftrmarket wheels I don't believe work with our cars. You my friend...are not one of those folks. Will meet you in Atlanta.

Also painting that chin spoiler black underneath the grille insert was a great touch!

You got a pretty sweet collection there man! Your bird looks like its coming along nicely. The stance on the Z06 is killer, and I love the yellow Hoosier lettering on the rear... Because race car!

What springs/suspension components are you running to get the stance you have on your Camaro?

BADNBLK - Thanks man! ya I am loving my new Z06, it is a gorgeous car, its in great shape, makes pretty good power for the street, and is a blast to drive! I also love the hoosier lettering on the back tires it definitely makes it look more aggressive. I will probably be getting some 335/30/18 KDW 2's to replace them though, I plan to daily this car and don't want to get stuck a good ways from home in the rain and on slicks.
