Just picked up this 1989 iroc-z for $1800

Previous owner told me he blew up the engine. After I pulled off the burned plug wires and put on a distributor hold down(missing) and timed it, wow does she run well deff not damaged)Anyhow here's what done to it: brand new 4 bolt main, all forged internals, lingenfelter cam and intake, holley 52mm tb, edelbrock alum performer heads, 24lb injectors, comp cams full roller rockers, 3 row alum rad, b&m shifter, bunch of other stuff I'm slowly finding out. The trans is lost third gear, so my brother in law is selling me his perfect 700 out of his. 1991 z28. The car needs the front bumper painted but other than that, she'll polish right up. This thing is fast! I've been doing the usual third gen stuff; hatch pull down rebuild kit, hood/trunk struts, tighten up loose door glass and panels, fix valve cover leaks, blown out header gaskets, exhaust leaks, loose suspension parts, etc. Car is becoming very solid. unmolested old girl! Has factory posi Borg Warner 2.77 rear with discs all around and 155 speedo and 7,000 tach. Car has all power(locks, windows, mirrors, hatch, cruise,ac, power dr seat, etc. What do you guys think?

Pic3. I have since detailed and shampooed the interior and was lucky enough to remove all the stains.

Ah John Lingenfelter, Fuel Injection pioneer. May he rest in peace! He was my hero 15 years ago, putting 383's and his custom FI setup on firebirds The result was 450+ HP.

You bought this thing from a guy who didn't know what he had, obviously. Especially since he though the engine was toast!

Enjoy!!
