Flip flop front turn signals

Just installed these. Since I don't have fogs these will give a decent side illumination since the head light beam gets cut off being recessed

Is that just a special bulb? Normally white until you hit the turn signal/flashers?

Yes, they are white when on running light and the flip to amber with you turn on the turn signals or hazards. You have to use load resistors to make the switch actually work. I swapped to electronic flashers to try an avoid it, but while that solved hyperflash on the rear LEDs it did nothing for this. You need the additional resistance to get this to switch properly on our cars and make the side markers work correctly

using 50W 6ohm.

as far as longevity we will see. Its not an everyday car so they will see light (pun not intended) usage. These ones seem pretty well made. Time will tell I guess

Re: Flip flop front turn signals

Have you tried the Diode Dynamics switchback bulb? I too don't have fog lights and these give some nice lighting, even brighter than my headligjts it seems 😂
