My 85 Iroc LS3/T56 Iroc Z - Fireball Mu11et

I really need to update my build thread to catch it up, but I figured I post a few of my favorite shots of the build as it is now. Runs awesome and I'm pretty stoked this thing actually runs after all that work LOL

Also a short video clip of the car

Haha man, I'm the opposite of a big poster on here . I'm terrible for keeping things updated but I really need to update some of the stuff and "give back" since so many posts on here has helped me LOL.

Man, you sure love whoring the pictures of your car in the FB groups, I see them over there a lot, funny looking at them full size, I thought you had high dollar aftermarket wheels, but you just put a custom paint job on some stockers.

LOL... yeah, just gold stockers painted black! I'm hoping 2019 to start looking at some aftermarkets, but wheel decisions are not fun I'm hoping next year is wheels, upgraded diff, and interior work.

Car looks great! Give us some more on the entire set-up. Suspension, exhaust, etc. Where did you get that 6.2 emblem?

Thanks! I had that emblem custom made from Emblem Pros. If you are interested, reference Stan Kennedy's order and he can use the same font and dimensions if you want something similar.

Here are some details:

Engine/Trans:
6.2L LS3 out of a 2009 Corvette. It was low miles, but went through it anyway.
CAM - BTR Stage 3 NA, BTR Springs, and Pushrod kits
Dirty Dingo Brackets for FBody accessories with high mount R4 (I want to change this later to Sanden)
25% Underdrive pulley (I really only wanted 10% but they were out of stock)
Speed Engineering Headers, custom Y, to a Flowmaster catback (I want to change that catback down the road)
T56 Rebuilt and LS7/3 clutch setup, Tick Master Cylinder

LS Swap Parts:
ICT Billet setback plates
Holley Crossmember (had to widen the mounting holes)
GMPP LS3 Controller Kit, Relay center, DBW throttle pedal, and Harness with E67 ECM
Stock KMember, no notch (I install motor from underneath)
Fuel - 4th gen tank with in tank regulator and stock 4th gen lines to T block - 3rd gen line goes right into it without modding
Rancetronix Fuel Pump and Hot wire kit
Air Intake - Airaid U-Built it Kit, 4" with K&N Cone filter. I also cut the MAF tube section off a 5th gen and clamped inline.

A/C (still working on, but it's close)
R4 compressor - will be changing to Sanden
standalone A/C request control (ECM E67 has no request input) using a Trinary Switch on high side to control fan and a/c compressor power
Dirty Dingo high mount bracket

Interior - Stock, in decent shape, but I want to go through it in 2019.

Suspension
1Le 9 Bolt with rear discs (I will be doing a 8.8 or 9" in 2019)
Mostly stock but all new parts.
Eibach Sportline drop springs.
SFCs

Exterior - mostly stock, new paint, painted gold Iroc 16" wheels

Here are a few more pics.

Great set-up. Did you have the car dyno tuned? Does the GM controller kit come with the E67 ECM? I thought it came with the E38.

Thanks, I still need to get a dyno tune - it just has a base tune by Hawks. No, the GMPP comes with a variation of the E38 (which is one regret I have). The E67 has some limitations.

The E67 I believe has other outputs for VVT and active fuel management.

Yeah, seems like GM also locked down some parameters on the crate ecm's for warranty issues or something like that. If I did over, I'd probably get aftermarket harness like PCI or Current Perfomance and a E38.
