Have you noticed a change in the smoke between post 16 and now? Was it the reason why you pulled the valve covers off recently?

No, I can't say that I did. I was re-reading my thread and noticed I was offered a suggestion and I never even gave it a shot + it gave me the chance to put on some new covers I had laying around a few years. What really brought me back to post #16 was the fact my Oil psi is normally midway on the gauge out of nowhere now it starts at the max & sometimes I'll see it come down a bit but in a blink it's right back at 60 or whatever the max is.

Sometimes the oil gauges, are a little funky, but the smoke sounds like either stuck rings due to carbon, worn out rings due to use, or bad valve seals. I'm assuming that the smoke has a bluish tent to it?

You've been busy while I was gone!
FYI...the posts in the "Members Camaros" sub-forum are more often used for documenting your build. There is certainly nothing wrong with asking technical questions within your build thread, but a lot of folks who frequent the forum don't come in here.
If you run into a technical problem, and need a more timely answer, you might do better posting that specific question in a part of the forum meant to support those kind of questions...Tech/General Engine for this one maybe, or Electrical for electrical questions, etc.

Re: My First 92RS - The Revival
Wheeled out the New US General Tech Cart today, since I bought it to work on my Camaros It was time they meet. First I taped up the IAC Valve wires and connected it, then the battery. I ran this Motor Flush stuff through it for 5 min, drained it. Jacked up the passenger side for more drainage. Filled & installed the new filter, lowered her down and filled her with STP High Mileage 5W-30. Having the cart outside keeping everything close by made this easy. Cleaned up, no visible leaks so I fired her up. No smoke visible for the first few minutes, but I knew it was to good to be true. I blipped the throttle and boom... smoke. So I guess I'm off to the tech section for some troubleshooting advice.
