A few quick pics of the GTA

I pulled the GTA to blow a little dust off of it and snapped a few before I put it back in hibernation.

Thanks guys, the tires are245 50s all around, Kelly chargers up front and Nitto drag radials in the rear. I love my exhaust the headers in combination with the Hooker cayback sounds awesome.

I like that Hooker cat back as well. I am usually not a fan of chrome tips on 3rd gens but that kit gives it a nice touch to it. I wouldnt mind hearin a sound bite of it.

Re: A few quick pics of the GTA

Its not exactly in hibernation but it does only come out on really nice days, all others it stays in the garage covered up. Ill try and see what I can do about getting a video clip of the exhaust for you too.

I love this car. but tell me, where are the runners on the plenum?
The red and gold make a great combo.

Re: A few quick pics of the GTA

you wont find any runners on this one. It has a Holley Stealthram intake on it that is basically a fuel injected tunnel ram set up.

Thanks for the explaination.
I'm a carb guy, myself, but always willing to learn.
So, does this eliminate the high rpm drop off in power, that is common with the stock TPI?
My son has a stock 87 GTA 5.7, and he would like it to pull hard past 4000rpm, instead off laying down there, like it does now.

Re: A few quick pics of the GTA

yeah it pulls the whole way up to redline now the only trade off is you loose a little bottom end but I barely noticed any loss. I just wanted it because I eventually want to stroke my motor and the stock TPI wouldnt hold up to that.
