Re: Here's the video.

Although they are a very nice looking rim...they belong on a S.U.V., Cadillac, Escalde...etc! It's your car man but rims like that definately don't go with F-Bodies...too big for me, but again it's your car you do it up the way you want and I have respect for that

If you are just posting pictures/videos of your car post in the Member Rides section, not the main A&D section.

How can you afford those rims, but yet fail to fix those lights.
That just looks low-budget, to me.

I had fixed the light I bought the motors from ebay. The gave up on me within 4 days so I just left them like that. Why spent another $160

Re: Here's the video.

That kit doesn't have any gears. There are three screws that hold the side cap on each motor. On one side you just pop those three screws out, clean the inside, put the bushings in the only place they'll go, grease and re-assembly. The other side require just a hair more work by sliding the motor housing up a bit. But either way, $20 for both sides and perfectly working motors is good news to me.

Re: Here's the video.

lmao why does every big rim owner feel they have to lay something on the lip so we can see it. usually they throw down money but you used a phone ha nice. insert ghetto backdrop, sprinkle some crack, and add some of those goofy little oval things u buy at advance that all the thugs have on their ghetto cruisers and you'll be set.

Re: Here's the video.

hate to be a ball buster but im not feeling it either. if all youre going for is looks, then ya its cool, just paint it nice too. but for me, 20's are too big. my max would be 18's. your car may look hot but if it doesnt have the ***** to back it up then whats the point? with the money u spent on rims and tires, im sure u could have beefed up that sucka alot! like $3000 right? think about it.

ya know, i hate to tell ya man, but i'm with the rest...not a fan. but its all about personal preference....i personally would have spent the money on a new motor or something, or even a T56 tranny...but thats just me, but if they look good to you, then good work!

Re: Here's the video.

I like the 20" decals the best....on a car with 22"s! I'd peel those decals, or have zeros made, and fix them.

Anything over 18", IMHO, looks bad. Besides that, the suspension can't properly do it's job with 22"s.

gotta respect ya for puttin those 22's on there, its your car, but IMO it just too much for a car. id b scared to turn it any faster than 5mph! and that 454 build woulda been waaaaay easier had you saved all the money for that.

Maybe if they where 22 inch Irocs I could ger passed the huge size, But those rims dont even look good on this kind of car they look like somethin an eclipse owner or honda owner would do, but ultimatly they belong on an SUV, sorry dude.

Clean, atleast its one color, the car that is. If those rims are for crusing, go for it. Its your car do what you want to it. But those tires seem a lil thin I think, I would hate to hit a pot hole, happy crusing & stay away from potholes & curbs .

i caught it too but never heard anything back. its possible, but you might as well wrap some pistons in aluminum foil so you have a thicker block. i call on the small block im bettin its a big block.

Re: Here's the video.

Ok first you can make a 454 small block have to use an aftermarket tall deck block....second if this guy thinks those rims are cool then he is obviously too dumb to know the difference between a 305 and a 454 small block...god thats so ugly, i hate it when people put some huge *** rims on any car. nothing over 20'' on any car 18'' on fbodies.....22'' belong on trucks, the guy i just bought my IROC from is using the money to get some 22s for his impala.im glad i rescued the IROC before he put even worse rims on it... i already have to do somethin about thes damn 17'' centerline stealths that are on it....

Re: Here's the video.

Why in the world do you think 22's look good on a muscle car, never do you put anything bigger than 18's on a muscle car. Alot of people are trying to keep their comments from being to harsh, but buddy those rims need to come off. Any of us wouldnt mind if those rims were on a truck but not on a car. if you took those rims off and put 18 inch corvette Z06 hands down we would all love your car. But 22's is rediculus.

I am going to walk away now shaking me head because this is really rediculous, the body of the car looks amazing, and the rims totally took away from the car.

They have been around for awhile now.

i didnt say that it wasnt possible if you'll read my posts. just said its more likely that it was a big block. especially since there bout 1/2 the price and 50x more common. but hey the guys got 22's so maybe he's unique in more than one aspect of the car.

As for the rims, It just don't look right. MTV has people buying anything they see some rapper putting on a car. I swear if they put on a set of old wood spoke wagon wheels on their cars, you'd start seeing them on everything, costing over $2000....

Hey Look! I just saw 50 cents' new video, you got to get these man, they would look soooooo cool on an f-body!

Re: Here's the video.

iv seen so many videos of rims that big.
what a waste of time making rims that big and even more time trying to get your car so they can fit em on. its like trying to stick semi truck tires on a small car. blah!!!!!
