Pics of the Formula
I posted these on the Norcal board figured I would ***** with you guys. I've been working on it more lately and cleaned it up, put the wheels bck on and rolled it out of the garage. It will be driving again soon and I can't wait. I still need to go a little bigger with the tires. It's sitting high because te engine and tranny are out of it. It still sits lower than my Audi with H&R race springs on it.

Nice looking car.
Though something caught my eye, because from the pictures it looks as if the front end of the car is riding higher than the rear.
Is it, or is it just from the tilt of the driveway and the angle of the pictures?

There's no engine or tranny in it. + the tilt of the driveway makes it look worse.
It has Sportlines on it.

Even if it was a roller when you bought it, you still got a hell of a deal for $1000. An LS1 in that Formy is going to be bad. I will have one one day.

It was running when I bought it. It ran great for the 2 days after I fixed the intake oil leak, then it spun a bearing.

I thought you were selling that? I think Bullydawg was talking about buying your wheels.
Looks fantastic though, beautiful car.

I was only selling it cause we were planning on moving out of state but I decided, what the hell, I'm keeping it.

Re: Pics of the Formula
Here is part of the thread over in "Norcal"
Ok, I was going to keep this a secret and just show up at the next gtg in the Formula. I am posting around with a few q's and I figured with some of you lurkers, it would get out.
My wifes ex called me saying he just got an 89 Suburban with a rebuilt 350 tbi with a Crane cam in it that I could buy for $400. I went up to look at it and hear it run. It had no leaks, clean oil/coolant and didn't smoke at all. I went up the next day, pulled it and got it home.
I really don't want to do the LS1 swap piece by piece and I couldn't stand looking at it sitting anymore so decided to go old school till next year when I can buy everything at once for the LS1 swap so I'm cleaning up the engine, puting in a aluminum timing cover, aluminum valve covers, aluminum intake and a Holley carb. It has a Crane Cam in it already but I'm not sure of the size. It has a Ca. smog # so it can't be big. I'll swap it out if the performance isn't there. It has crappy 76cc 191 heads so if after I buy everything else including the t5 swap stuff and I have enough cash left I'll look for a set of Vortecs or something along those lines. Since I still have the serp setup, exhaust, and sfc's, I'll install it back on the car. I'll still use the stock manifolds as I am on a budget and don't want to blow it. I figure this motor will be a decent performer to hold me over till I get the real beast in. It will be back on the road by the middle of next month. The engine is going in tomorrow after I get off work. I can't wait to hear it fire up again.

Didn't want to have to run another computer and harness and all that crap. This was a cheap temporary thing.
