Re: Post your firebird pics

Fresh paint, but she hadn't been washed in a while in that picture... Did some post work in photoshop to give it that 80's feel 8) Don't mind the sunshade!

Re: Post your firebird pics
I had an extra set of lights, so I took out the bird, filled/ painted, and slapped on an emblem from I think an old Sunbird or pontiac van or something. I kinda want to swap it out for one from a newer car with the chrome trim. Thread Starter

Went to a local carshow with Mike(Maks10) and Adam(Charlie#####, don't remember the numbers), and another member on here with a nice Blue Iroc, but unfortunately she had to leave before we took these pictures.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Sorry for the overkill on my posts but had to try to get a nice day for some pics...its been pooring rain ever since I got my t/a back from the shop...anyways I had to grab some GTA emblems which where also sprayed down with the PPG pearl white...I might get some upset GTA guys but you have to admit the gta emblems are WAAAAYYYY better than some stickers

Re: Post your firebird pics
Yeah your car looks great! You know that every single badge you put on the car is off a few inches lol. The nose badge needs to go up probably an inch, the fender badges need to go forward about and inch, inch and a half, and the sail panel birds are supposed to be in the bottom corner closest to the side glass. No one will probably notice in person, but I think they look better in the right spots. How much did you pay for them? GTA badges cost a pretty penny lol

Re: Post your firebird pics
^thanks...I figured since it wasnt a gta, I would place the emblems where I wanted them...I definately like the bird sail panels up a little higher than the factory spot....got the badges off of ebay $120 and had my paint guy match the pearl (which u still cant see since we have a hurricane everyday and no sun lol)

The gta badges do give the car more character and look awesome. Haha, we already discussed the position of the emblems. I still have to yet to wash my car mike, makes no sense to with the weather we've been having. I probably will tomorrow being we'll actually have only a 30% chance these next few days.

Re: Post your firebird pics
I'm not a humongous fan of the emblems on any car, more or less a non-GTA, but they dont look terrible. And really, I dont mind the overkill of posts. Its a great looking car. I took some new ones tonight, but I need to figure out the camera settings, they ended up all looking grainy. I'm gonna try again maybe this weekend to get some new decent pics.

Dont u work at a car wash??? NO EXCUSE lol plus u have that crazy phone with up-to-the minute radar....thanks for the compliment!!!
Orinakra, i figured some people wouldnt have the same taste on the emblems on a non-gta but I just think it is sweet how those emblems came...not even the camaros or vettes of these years had something similar
Megamoney, thanks for the compliment, sorry to hear about that but glad ur still working on ur bird...post the bird
