My DD/work truck/beater/rust bucket is a 98 4L Ranger, so I don't blame you for keeping your T/A as a true weekend Toy!

ive got 3 dents in my truck from lot loons, one in the steel rear bumper. the clownshoe that did that one musta a really peeled the crap out of his/her car. it takes a lot to dent a silverado rear bumper.
i tend to park at the ends of rows whatever im driving lately

I always park as far from others as possible. That being said my Formula does have a couple door dings that happened while it was in the care of a previous owner.

And I DD mine, so the highway horrors are worse. I got stuck behind a dump truck the other day. I had probably 5 or 6 car lengths between us. Somehow a huge peice of Ninja asphalt pops out of another dimension, and attacked my hood. I found the scar this morning washing it. And thats not to mention the mysterious paint stripper filled bugs we have.

Nothing wrong with a good DD. Im gonna have to get me one.

Re: I understand this is wrong..(pic)
In the process of swapping dailys right now...my 2004 Grand Prix is getting full-size-truck-like fuel economy, and because of a career change, I now have a 45-minute commute. I would never dream of daily driving my Camaro, though...too many lunatics on the road, in the parking lots, and then we have winter..so no..
I've been lucky tho...when I do take the Camaro to parking lots (running in for the jug of Milk I forgot to bring home, etc), it remains untouched. I dont know if thats luck, skill, or the fact that people in my town know me. I've had more paint damage at car shows to be honest. Buddy in the club with me had his accent parked beside me. His girlfriends son opened his door, and let go of it....it smashed into my mirror while I wasnt around. A couple people came up to me yelling that Cody had just hit my car. I came back to find the paint flaked off the little flat area beside the glass on the drivers side mirror, maybe a quarter inch long. The laugh was Codys door...a dent almost 2" across and getting on for 3/8" deep.
Once again proving that muscle beats import. :-P

The drivetrain may make it that far, but up here the body never will. I had a friend in high school who's father owned a early 90s prelude , the seat literally rotted through the floor.
As for DD my Trans am is my daily spring/summer DD I take it everywhere. I enjoy the car and it get's driven mileage and wear and tear mean nothing to me. What are you saving garage queens from? You die one day and someone else gets to drive it. Makes zero sense.

Re: I understand this is wrong..(pic)
haha no my floors on my honda are 100% rust free, the undercoating they put on them was a smart idea my quarters on the other hand have some rot but nothing that wouldnt stop me from just patching them up to get plenty more life.I have to have 2 cars because for 1 it would make no sense to drive my trans am everywhere when im getting roughly 20MPG at best the way i drive it or i could drive my honda and not care if it gets a scratch or ding and can drive 360 miles on 1 tank of gas wich equals out to about 35-37 MPG to me that makes sense.

Re: I understand this is wrong..(pic)
I've sees at least 1 model of EVERY car rust out and rot in half.
Don't matter whether its a thirdgen, honda, saturn, or something else.
Unless it doesn't have an ounce of metal in it, it WILL eventually rust out.

DD is a 2004 Dodge SRT-4 - Since the new house only has 1 garage space, the 91Z28 gets it.
