Back with a new Toy

My dad and I fixed up a 1985 Trans Am when I was 16. It was my first car. The interior was rough and the paint was terrible but we built a stout 350. It was a fun car for a 16yo. I sold it a little bit later and have regretted it ever since. A year or so ago we bought an 84 Firebird to fix up but nothing ever came of it so we sold it as well. Well today my dad and I finally have bought one that we will completely fix up. Almost 5 years after my first. This is what we have now. Its an 87 Trans Am. Paint is almost perfect, has a worn out 305 that will eventually be replaced with a crate 350.

Thanks everybody for the compliments. Yeah he is a very happy pug lol. A guy I went to high school with owned the car before me. I had an 85 T/A at the time that was in rough shape. I admired that car everyday I walked through the parking lot. Its nice to be the owner now. Its going through an engine swap now. Its almost done, should be running tomorrow. Its a 96 Vortec 350 with a XR270HR cam and Hedman longtubes. Its pretty much my dream car.

Re: Back with a new Toy

She's a beauty! My favorite color combo on a TA.

My only advice is to get rid of the sail panel decals which are up too high, and the bird on the front bumper.
