yay but where to get larger copies of the 16" corvette enkei wheels?

 

I have a set of C4's in 17's, im thinking of powder coating them black.

 

only the sawblades and the wheel in between those and the enkeis came in 17, none of those early style oens came in 17.

I like the fan styling of those wheels and i think they would be awesome in 19 or 20"

 

Ill take a pic of mines when i get home. I think mines are the saw blade looking ones. I forget cause they are in my storage shed.

Love the paint scheme, is that like the 10th anniversary? Wheels I'm not sure about, not a big fan of mixing parts from other cars. How about silver TA lace wheels?

 

Yeah the wheels are 16's i believe.

 

TPI and shaker?

Do you intend to run a duct over the TPI unit back to where the shaker opens, for CAI then?

I actually believe that with the 2nd gen styled bird on the hood, the shaker and those colours, that the sawblade style wheels would look better in 16" then in 17".

Not sold on the idea of coating them black.
Paint them in the same colour as the rest of the car, with the holes in the rims in black? Just a thought though.

Or better still, source up a set of 16" formula wheels and paint those in the car colour with black accents

I love it. If you are really going for the "look", use a camaro spoiler, you might consider some fender vents too.

don't go bigger than 17" with the wheels, in fact I think 16" may look even better

 

It looks great like in the pic so that means you'd need 19s or so.

Looks great minus the wheels, maybe go with the new yearone honeycombs in a 17" or 18" rim.

 

Looks good, I just don't like the wheels or the bird on a third gen.

I have the 91 92 17" ones with a machined finish. They will tuck under better.

 

Yay on the paint, nay on the wheels. Never liked them, don't like the C4 Corvette in general.

Loose the bird and shaker.

 

If the Shaker will be functional keep it and the screaming chicken.

 

I think the screaming chicken and shaker scoop would look cheesy unless the shaker scoop was functional.

 

I wouldn't even care if it's functional as long as it looked right. In otherwords, just don't glue a scoop on top of the hood.

 

If I was putting that much effort into the car, I would use the actual turbo wheels. nothing wrong with a 15" wheel

 

Thats the feel i was going for with those rims, the shaker would be a CAI setup. I have all these ideas in my head but no talent....lol. I also have an idea for a NASCAR inspired Camro, but street legal ofcourse.

Wow, those turbo wheels are terrible.

 

not my favorite's either, but if you've going for the look of the 19th anniv TA, that's the wheel to use. The corvette wheels are ok, but it looks like you're trying to make more of a poor mans version of a vette than a tribute TA

not that I'm implying Karl is poor or anything... it's just at first sideways glance, the first picture looks like a vette
