Window Tint. Worth it?

I'm thinking about tinting the windows on my car. I called around and Ziebart seems to be the best quality and they priced it at about 200 bucks. I'm gonna get the windows as dark as legally possible, and in Ohio you can get them pretty dark. What do you guys think about tints on your Birds?

Well I think it would look fantastic on yours! The dark windows with that shade of blue would really look great!!

tints don't look bad on these cars since they have more of a modern look eh...
personally, I think your car looks good without tints...
but it's your car, do what YOU want.

I paid $140 for mine and I think it looks good with tint, mines only 20%. I think it would look really good on yours.

Re: Window Tint. Worth it?

I'm not a fan of tints. In my area I would be slammed with a 200 dollar ticket so fast it would make my head spin. I had tints on my gta and after my second ticket. Off they came. Sometimes I hate living in chicago.

Re: Window Tint. Worth it?

I like the look of tint on these cars, however, as others have said know the laws for your area. The previous owner of my TA put 15% tint on the windows and 5% on the hatch. That made things real dark inside. A couple of years after I bought it, I got pulled over and learned that here in AZ at least you have to have 33% or higher tint on the windows but the hatch isn't restricted. So off it came. Hopefully one day I can get around to putting legal tint back on the windows.
