too much to list! car is fully custom and insane! 550hp estimate(way more tq) then 100-250hp for up to 800 with the NOS. Makes full power by 5500rpms so i can enjoy it on the street which is why its so mild. Thinking of head porting and a solid tappet cam for an easy 650-700hp NA.

No doubt one of the most unique 'Birds I've seen! The torque that must make!!
-Not to mention HP.
Love those valve covers too....Where did you find those? But I'll be the one to ask....Why Ford powered?

Re: My Fordiac 521 BBF pontiac formula 350
Rubberducky... yes its pretty beast. With it idling you ***** vibrate if your within 10ft of the car. above like 4000 its scary. it went 12.2 at 115mph with only a 1.8 60' ( i could smoke the brand new MT streets 290/65r15s with anything but babying it off the line) but i was getting valve float by 4500rpms so it felt like it was hitting a rev limiter and i was popping by 4500. So i was short shifting and not going through the traps at more than 3/4 throttle id say.
Yea it turns alot of heads, most ppl think its a pontiac motor at first but its very torquey! The 3000 stall helps cushion it bc it prob makes 500ftlbs before 3000 easily since its peak is about 5500. Its a mild build (mild to BBF race guys) its easy to get in the 800-1000hp range (the stock crank is good for that with its 3" mains!) but I build it for street fun even with the 3-5mpg on premium lol.
The valve covers are fabbricated moroso tall, I then hand polished them and then only wrapped the top with 3M di-noc carbon fiber vinyl. The 521BBF cutout shows the polished aluminum underneath. I only wanted to wrap the top since I didnt like the polished look (valve covers and air cleaner) it was just too much! So to calm it down I used the carbon fiber wrap on the tops so the sides of the valve covers and the breathers are all polished aluminum so it still has a good bit of POP! I didnt want to cover the aluminum welds (its my favorite part about fabricated aluminum) so it helps add alittle pop/bling on the tops of the valve covers. Its hard to see in the pics but the breathers are billet polished aluminum as well with carbon fiber on the top as well.
Car had a brand new 383 HSR that took me 6 yrs to build, and it was stolen before i could even finish tuning it (roughly 3 months after first startup) After than I was going to go big or go home and big blocks always gave me a stiffy. so I went big!!! and got it insured for all the money invested in it since I got nothing from the theft and gut of my 383 HSR/700r4 build. I got the block core and trans for free and basically just used the block and trans case and everything else is aftermarket. Plus doing a timing change on the BBF is stupid easy lol!
thanks for the kind words guys.

Some more pics.
Heres a pic of under the valve covers, all that bling!
Rear weight jacks, afco 200lb rear springs, ford 8.8 rear with custom extra long adjustable RLCA brackets for 5 mounting points vs the aftermarkets 2 hole versions. Mine have 5 mounting holes and the holes follow the arc of the RLCAs which means you never need to adjust the length of the LCA when moving holes. ( I change mine for the track and street as I change the ride height with the weight jacks to fit the 290/65r15 MT streets.
rear sumped stock tank with 1/2" NPT fittings, aeromotive pump, -10AN pressure and return line, regulator is aeromotive with -8AN to summit racing -8AN fuel log.

The combination of how you laid on the carbon fiber vlnyl on those valve covers and 521 cutouts really sets those off! The rest of it ain't too shabby either!
The show is in Crete, Illinios every year Memorial Day weekend....bring your gas card and drive on over! Bring a rag too so you can wipe the drool off your fenders...lol There's a thread on the board all about it:

Re: My Fordiac 521 BBF pontiac formula 350
It wasn't too bad. Custom motor and trans mounts and custom headers. I trimmediately the firewall back alittle on some areas. The hardest part was the cooling system since the rads are opposite on a ford. Once i figured it out its pretty easy. Headers took some time. It fit with thr stock kmember etc. Now it's got a moly kmember, coil overs with integrated STB, newly designed cooling system, 2004r, fast eZ efi 2.0 and TA gfx, getting new paint and quad bixenon projectors.
Cooling system is knotched over to the pass side 3" and down 1.5". Had to create a remote rad cap filling station bc the water neck is 1.5" higher than the rad cap

Hmmm I've heard stories about this car. My dad brought it up to me he trolls the 460 ford forum.
