My 87 Trans Am
I guess I never posted in this part of the forum so I wanted people to see my 87 Trans Am.
Here is the Before picture when I bought it back in 2004.

Cleaned it up and put some rims on it.

After awhile I really wanted to paint it and do something different.

Tinted the tail lights and the side marker lights (lol...no not nightshade crap!)

Its a 3 stage candy apple red. (Silver, Candy color, clear) I have a lot of pictures of the painting process, but you get the idea, I don't need to post 50 pictures of the process.
I did leave the side moldings off, I did shave the door handles. It's lowered 2 inches all around. It has motor work done, Exhaust, Sub Frame Connectors, stereo system, 3.73 gear in the rear. It took a while to get it the way it is now. I have won a lot of awards for it which makes the work my Brother in law and I did all worth while. If you popped in to take a look....Thanks!!

Hi Bro! Your car looks sweet. I want mine to look the same but grey bottom with Ram Air hood. Did you have to change the colour in the door jams and under the hood? Hope my TA looks that good when I'm done. Cheers...

tenpin,
Super nice looking car. I love the color and the detail you put in. I really love what you did all around. Make a nice complete looking car that will for sure grab some attention.
I am curious about your tail light tinting. I have been playing around with color and tint on my tail lights (I hate the orange on mine). You said you didn't use nightshades. Do you mind sharing what you did? They really look awesome and I wouldn't mind trying to get a look like that.

I need more blackness for mine too....have used nightshades in the past, with clearcoat, then wetsand and polish and it looks good, but alot of work.

Fantastic Trans Am! Well done, it looks great and all your work was worth it.
Nice looking engine bay, I really like how simple and nicely detailed it is.
COTM nominations?
