Nice find. Hope to see you motoring around town. I've seen only one other 3rd Gen Firebird this year on the road. It was a White 91-92 I saw a month ago. Too bad we are moving into winter. I will be parking mine soon.

 

I don't see too many 3rd Gen F-bodies around the KC area. Maybe they'll all come out in the Spring.

 

I drive mine about 90 miles round trip to work north of Liberty 3 days a week. I've seen 1 nice blue Camaro, 3 Camaro's not in great shape, and one Firebird in 2 years! I see a few for sale around town, but not on the road.

 

Is this your first 3rd Gen?

Yours is in nicer shape than mine. Mine is a daily driver but she still looks good after a good bath and vacuum.

You should get some good comments from the general public. I get them all the time. Last week I took my pickup in for an oil change and one of the attendants came up and said "Your old school". I asked do you mean the Firebird? He said Yeah. THAT CAR IS OLD SCHOOL! One of the other guys that work there has a 4th Gen and wants my car.

 

Yep! First one! I always wanted a Firebird in high school.... Finally got one at 41! Can't wait to get it out!

 

That's about the age when I bought my first one. I picked up a 92 Teal Camaro RS that had 61K miles on it. I sold her after she had 300,000 wonderful miles. I bought my current 91 Firebird Formula about 3 years ago. I lived without a 3rd Gen for 1 1/2 years and had to have another one!

 

I daily drive my 1989 Trans Am and live in Lawrence ks. I take it to Kc all the time and hardly every see any other 3rd Gens around at all. 2 Camaros here in Lawrence that I know of and 1991firebird. Though not nearly as nice as this one!
