Dagwood's gonna blow the zipper clean off his jeans when he sees this. I love the red top on the other one too!

Very nice, Billy! I would love a convertible. The red is unique, I like it.

Re: my new 92

Beautiful!

The weakness of many convertibles is the top-up look. 3rd gens pull that off as well as any convertible I've ever seen.

oh yes, he was way high on price, I guess he realized it was way too high.. I'm good with what I paid, I plan on keeping her for awhile.

Re: my new 92

Don't think I've ever seen a red/red combo before on an Firebird. Looks pretty cool. I assume the green one is the '92, correct?

Re: my new 92

That third gen body makes for some of the prettiest top-up convertibles ever.

My only first-hand experience with one was in February 1992 in San Diego. I upgraded my rental car on a work trip to a Firebird. Even with the V-6, it was still a good time. Left a very cold northeast for San Diego, which was experiencing unusually hot, 90-degree weather. Was just great driving out into the mountains and desert in that car.

If I saw a low-mileage convertible even with a V-6 in great shape, I'd strongly consider it.
