My car has died after 24 yrs. I named it the Nighthawk and had the name put on the back and sides. My #2 son was hit by a drunk driver in it and it was totaled! Fortunately my son was not hurt, except his heart, he felt so bad about my car.

Is the insurance payout enough to cover a new Thirdgen?

Its one of the reasons I put my GTA on Agreed Value. I know how much I'll get if they total it.

 

Man, that is awful. Glad your son is ok, but so horrible about the car. hope the drunk driver pays through his teeth on this.

As sad as this is, I can’t feel bad for the car as it did it’s job to keep your son alive.

 

Definitely sucks about the car. Maybe you and your son can buy another that needs a little work and have a good father/son project making it the NightHawk II.
