I recently got a trunk lock cylinder with keys because my '85 bird did not have a trunk lock but has the latch, however i got the locking cylinder and as i was going to install it the instructions called for a tailpiece which I am missing, ive tries searching this tailpiece up and found latch shaft as another term but I can only find it for 1st and 2nd gen birds and none for 3rd, if anyone knows if these other shafts fit that would be great or if anyone has found these latch shafts for the lock cylinder to the latch then that would be appreciated.
